RED LEAD PUTTY
We now make our own and in my working opinion have improved the product. We are using a very fine chalk which helps the fairing in the seams. Sold in 2.5 and 5 kilo drums

N.B. NEVER EVER PLACE THE STEEL DRUM STRAIGHT ONTO THE BURNER. MELTING THE BOTTOM WILL MEAN THE GASES CANNOT ESCAPE AND SO WILL EXPLODE. ALWAYS SMASH OUT AND HEAT IN A CAST IRON POT. IF YOU BUY A CAST IRON POURER FROM ME PUT INTO THE POT ALSO SO THAT IT ATTAINS THE SAME HEAT AND WILL KEEP GLUE RUNNING WHEN POURING.

This is the real black tar varnish not the thin synthetic stuff that HSE wants us to use. The thin stuff is, and I repeat is, synthetic in the same way as buying turpentine which if you look closely at the labels is turpentine substitute, whereas again I only sell genuine turpentine.

Genuine Pine Tar (Stockholm Tar)
This is no longer a banned product. Due to the hue and cry of our Baltic friends who have treated the roofs of their churches and museums ( they being wooden tiles) those chaps in suits in Brussels have had to back off. Not that we as Brits made any real noises(Probably because there is no money in it) However we can still use it and for that I thank our Baltic friends who made all the running.
Sold in 1 litre tins at £16.50 and I shall shortly pack also in 2 1/2 litre tins also.
As Classic Boat state its marvellous stuff for your anchor locker painted on the wood there but I have also seen a well known figure having a good sniff when suffering from a hangover.............
